After his village was obliterated by a dragon, Dora vows to kill the last dragon known to men. The 12 years old kid heads out to enact revenge on the dragon that killed his mother and friends. Being a half-dragonkin himself, Dora must hide his identity, covering his yellow eyes whenever he goes. On the way to a harbor where he can sense the presence of a dragon, Dora saves a runaway princess, Brynnhilda. To his dismay, Brynn helps him get through difficult situations. As they venture in the harbor town, Dora and Brynn meet a mysterious lost prince of a faraway kingdom. The prince was caged and asked for help in turn of loyalty. Remembering his mother’s words of kindness, Dora helps Zal out of the cage and in turn, he saves them from his captors.
As Dora and Brynn await for Zal, the very same dragon that destroyed Dora’s village emerges from the sea. Dora fights the Dragon, eager for revenge. When the dragon throws him away, Zal, in his half phoenix form, saves him, fulfilling his vows. The phoenix then aimed Dora to the jewel. The dragon turns out to be his own mother, transformed into a dragon due to her brother’s passing somewhere in the world, unable to control the form, Dora’s mother flattened the only village that would hide her and her son.
When Dora woke up, his right hand was shaped like a disfigured dragon claw. Being surrounded by imperial knights, Dora saves his friends and they venture forth on a new adventure.
